'Confessions of a shopaholic'

Well from the title plz do not mistake it with P.J. Hogan's movie with Isla Fisher in the cast but its a real time play with me in the lead role!!!
Friday evening frustrated with all office works, the first thought which creeps up is wht shud be done on saturday and sunday. Cooking (I mean experimenting),washing clothes, cleaning are the usual stuffs...well sounds really boring! So need to do something to pamper myself. I really need special care and that can be done by shopping:)
Again if for some reasons I am depressed (however silly reason it might be ) then surely I shud do something to make myself happy and cheer up... Well again shopping comes into picture...
If I am really happy then obviously I need to celebrate... Again shopping creeps up...
Friends dropped in and we need to go out... of course to a shopping mall.... again end up buying something or the other...

Well not always tat we need to buy but thr's a concept of window shopping too... Bro complains ' I keep looking for things which I need to buy as well as for things which I dont need to' ... I justify it saying ' Obv I'll have to look into things which I need to buy but I also look into things which I dont need to coz I dont know wen I feel the need and end up buying'.

Its actually a wonderful exp wen u return home with handful of bags (though very few realise :P)... ya of course at the cost of ur pennies but all shops accept 'credit cards'.U dont really get to feel the pain of ur money flying away... Amazing na!!!For the time being lets forget abt the credit card bill which is gonna cum at the end of the month.. anyways salary also comes with it:)Ya we have every reason to shop...
For clelebrations, relaxtion, pampering ourselves and sometimes only for the sake of it...
Everybody has the urge of trying out new outfits...look smart and of course satisfied...shopping gives us all!!!Shopping can be of anything... a dress, a cute soft toy, dvd's, accessories, cosmetics, magazines(fim fares), watches, etc etc.. well these are the intersesting ones.....So we should always appreciate the hidden shopaholic within us... and it feels really gr8 to be one amongst them...

Most interesting part is wen u go to buy something very cheap and u end up buying the most expensive one... It is simply 'Wow'and if u r too sad abt the bill then the momnet u get it tear it off... Some simp;e fundas I follow... I feel so happy with all bag in my hand nd no bills (coz i have teared them as soon as I get it) and my account too remains in the same state with no change (coz credit cards are swiped)....

In simple words 'Celebrate shopping with no tensions and feel proud'...

Both happiness and sadness comes together as a package in or lives...Infact they add spice to life... and to tickle those moments we get the gift of music..For me music is the right way to know our emotions... At times we fall short of words but listening to some rhythm we can relate to our feelings and thus tranquile us:)
When I listen to John Denver's ' Take me home Country roads' it invariably takes me to all the pavements, lanes, roads which has witnessed how I grew up. Takes me to all the local shops where we get lot of 50ps imly candys.. college classrooms where I always dared to take a nap inspite of sitting in the first bench.... bro's bike ride thru the city and to all the street side shops for velpuris, gol gappas, chats and so on.... I love to listen to it and somewhere go lost in my country roads... Only that i want to steal ' West Viginia' and replace it with ' Guwahati' :):)
When Ronan Keating says ' You say it best when you say nothing at all' it is well portrayed that at times silence is the best way to express what u feel... A heart touching music indeed....
Well Michael very well conveyed that how he was taken right 'Out of the blue' simply by showing that he was loved by somebody.... have no words to describe the passion...
'I jus called to say I love you' says everything... Steve wonder confessed though there were no april blooms, no new year's eve, no summers high, no warm July, no autumns green but ya something was different and that was why the cell ringed and ya prompted the three magical words!!!!!
Amidst everything how can I miss Celine Dion's 'My heart will go on'.... Needless to say each and every word pierces deep into heart... Wonderful lyrics, Wonderful music..wonderfu video...
Well its a never ending list where my favs keep on adding....
I believe that some apt words imbibed into music can help us discovering ourselves and give true definitions to our emotions!!!!... True I luv to go crazy with music!!!!

Some wonderful people I have come across........

Through out our life we come accross a lot of people who some or the other way have major imapct on our lives. Knowingly or Unknowingly we tend to share a lot of things and give new dimensions to our thoughts.Sometimes a meeting of hour or so is enough to make us appreciate their importance and at times it takes long years to realise the same.
It is well said that parents are the best teachers in a person's life and I proudly say it has been well proved for me.Dad's continuous guidance and mom's friendliness always helped me in leveraging my thoughts. I sometimes thank God for planning up things so well and blessing me with such parents. Bro's continuous arguements and fights add spice to life. Well I confidently say that I can argue pretty well and this is all becoz of the never ending practice. Thanks bro!!!!
Coming to friends the first name which flashes across my eyes is Nandsh. A 7 year long friendship how turned out to be a valuable asset.. hard to believe!! Learnt to say sorry several time over chatting no matter what the matter is:).. Never knew that some loud laughters and pleasant smiles can bring solution to all our probs... but ya learnt it from her.Luv u nandsh. (Well take a break now)
As I moved up the ladder towards pofessionalism I came acrsoss people who taught me to celebrate at work. Nevertheless I can forget my mentors, colleagues, changing lunch mates, short break coffee mates, cubicle mates. I really wonder about all the precious moments which I stole from them. But no regrets coz m gonna do it again and again!!! I really appreciate them for having so much of patience in listening to all my blabbers even at work. My untimely messenger pop ups saying 'coffee' or ' share the song/video u have' specially when on meetings no doubt irritates them but a smile brings an end to all. Infact gives me new zeal to re-start with my nonsensial and rarely sensible talks.:)
Away from home, college, office we at times meet with people who tend to leave us memories we wud love to treasure.Meeting mite be very small, may be day long but gives us a pleasant experience. Learnt a new term 'direct' which at times tend to be rude but ya shud say gives a lot of space to fight and this in turn gives the room for frankness to say anything and everything. Guess the single word 'Wonderful' decribes it all!!!.... Well goes alanis words 'I thot we wud be simple together.. but I was sadly mistaken'. Bingo I love it!!

Amidst all the wonderful people how do I forget my roomies who have been there with me for the last 3 years. Well had to say gud bye to two of them but cherish those days we spent together. Their patience to listen to my blah blah after a hectic day, join hands for my untimely and unplanned parties, loud screams on spoiling the entier lunch or dinner and making them prepare it again, bearing me in shedding tears for all the emotional scenes(movie) and consoling me as though a baby should be well applauded.Luv u dearies for being so wonderful!!!
A very famous saying 'Man proposes and God disposes' but here its the other way round... Its only 'God proposes'... disposure doesn't cum into picture at all. Becoz I vow to maintain my terms with them thru out my life.. Thanks people for showering so much of luv and care... Pray the chapter of wonderful people goes longer and longer... Amen!!
