Jan last week and I was lazing at home... yep home here is my sweet home at 'Guwahati'... suddenly my cell gets a buzz...Oh its a fren of mine 'Are u coming for the Aero show next week?? Thot of asking you as you would be in B'lore'... My thots wandered.... I remember seeing a miniature Aero show long bak at Ghy with Dad....but this time its gonna be a real big one!!!
Bright saturday morning and we had to start for the Aero show.... it was organised at Yelahanka which is near to airport.... very far off from the place i stay... we took the airport volvo from HAL bus stand and headed towards Yelahanka.... Usually it takes 1 hr to airport from HAL but for us it took more than 3 hrs to be finally on the ground.... Almost half of b'lore was on its way to Aero show and roads were jamm packed.... One good thing abt traffic for me is tat I get to see real good cars for longer hrs ;).... Oh yea this is the way I console myself wen i get stuck in traffic :D...
From the bus stop it was again 3-4 kms walk till we finally reached the ground.... A scorchingly hot morning where we were smeared with sweat.... even the jeans seemed to be unable to protect us from the heat as it pierced the tuf jeans to get into our skins :( but nevertheless it was an awesome experience.
The roaring of the flighter planes with colourful emissions added to the beauty of the blue sky... It was awesome to see te flights swirling in the sky as though they owned the horizons....I kept wandering as to wat an esthetic feeling it wud be for the pilots who wud be performing it.... It was a splendid show by them as if they conquered the sky and we were gazing at the conquerers of the universe :)
I went with one of my frens who had a great passion for fotography and he seemed to have enjoyed at its best.... The pic embedded here is one of his shots..... There wre people from diff fields having dff interests and it was fun to be a part of the crowd....
However the show ended at 5 and we had to be bak before the roads were packed with traffic...
Needless to say it was an awesome experience to see one of the biggest Aero show!!! :)
It was September last and I was planning as to how should I convince my PM about my long puja vacation plans which seemed to be an almost impossible demand at that point of time. But as usual I was determined to take it and my tickets were all booked without any official approval (well m very much expert in handling leaves ;)). As I was busy in my planning, one fine morning my PM calls me for a meeting and to my utter surprise he asked to pack my bags within a week ( my eyes blinked *** ). I was day dreaming as to how could he be so modest to approve my leaves without being askd. My thots wandered and for a moment he became the GOD for me. But again he gives me a shock saying tat u wud be reqd to travel San Diego (Western Coast of US) wihitn a week. Gosh!!! I got tensed as I knew the work would be very hectic there and all the onsite folks were struggling hard.
Though it was my first abroad trip but more than excitement I was worried abt the work which was piled in a huge stack. But ya there were lot of other thots which made me happy :D.
First thot which crept up my mind was 'THANKSGIVING' sale. Yeah Thanksgiving sale is famous there and I was very excited abt it. The various places whch I could see and also I could meet my frens who were there in the various states of US... Oh yes I had no plans of work... Just a silent prayer went on within me 'God please do something so that I need not slog there and have enuf time for all the fun I want ' :D (Hope my colleagues dont get to kno abt all my prayers and desires ;))
Yessss there I reach San Diego (a California State) and I have 3 months to do all that I wnt to... it includes shopping, travelling, photography, be a good San Diego guide :P....
First weekend I could make a trip to the World Famous Sea World and could see Shamu dolphin dancing around. Yes Yes I managed to take snaps with the cutie dolphin :)
Took me lot of efforts to make short term settlement at san Diego as iGate doesnt provide any acco :@... Added a lot to my distress.... but I hardly had any time t crib abt it becoz I was busy makng plans for the next 3 months... :D
Last of Ocotber I did make up to Los Angeles :).... Exciting Universal Studios and the cool beaches of LA were mesmerising.... Can never forget Hollywood walk of fame.... Yes next time I visit m gonna shop at walk of fame......The real hollywood smell could be felt and I luvd it....
Now its the time to meet my ver fav college frens :) but how could I make it :S... no leaves could be applied as I was in Business Visa.... yess again my evil brain workd... decided to take work from home :D and travel out of the city..... So there I travel to Michigan after 6 hours of flight journey over the lands of Denver to meet my very close frens... 4 days of Michigan trip was splendid.... It was one of the best trips I ever had in my life... Tears rolled down wen I had to leave my frens and get bak to Diego.... Oh I missed them so much :)...
Now it was Nov end and yes it was thanks giving time... was very excited to see the American way of celebrating Thanksgiving...... Apart from the great shopping deals tasty Turkey dishes amused me lots...
Yes m a foodie.... I celebrate food.... May be I wont gulp it in huge quantities but always luv to taste the diff varities and I believe in eating anything which is edible :D.... irrepective of wat it is... :P... Neverthless US would be a heaven for non vegetarians and specially ppl who would eat anything which is edible :D
It was December and my plans for Seattle trip were creeping up but yea I also had to be bak to B'lore on 28th.... Oh gosh!!! I have only few dollars left in my account...and def dont wanna get bankrupt till m bak to b'lore.... all my plans for Seattle trip cancelled :( but still there wr smiles as I had full b/w for shopping and visit San Diego (each and every corner).... Needless to say I turned out to be a gud San Diego guide :D...
Ok time to talk something abt my work... Yes GOD did listen to me :).... my silent prayers were answerd ;)..... Proj got scrapped :D and I was almost at onsite bench for 2 weeks :D.... Ya we did feel sad becoz the proj got scrapped as we were all working on it for almost a year and have put in all our efforts to make it a success.... but for certain reasons it got scrapped.... But it was a cherry on my Fun trip's cake :)....
Last few days of my office were topped with the wonderul Starbucks' (fav place to be in )Salted caramel hot chocolate with a crispy cookie and some music for breakfast :).... Yep all the cubicle gossips which was always headed by me :D... and the diff cuisines which I loved trying for lunch....
Finally the fun filled trip ended and it was time to be bak home.... yay yay!!! :D....
To summarize the 3 months trip gave me some wonderful memories, very few dollars, nice pics and of course wonderful frens :)

Morning wen i wake up from sleep, for few mins my mood remains off as I have to go to ofc... I at times want to bang my alarm as it wakes me up.... but the few but wonderful fun moments at ofc motivates me to be thr by sharp 9... oops not 9 by 10 :D...
Well to start... my Infy ofc... ofc less and frens more .... I learnt to prep coffee with lots of milk and milk powder at ofc and also for mutliple ppl..... the most interesting part was wen i bunked a meeting wit one of my fren :D... Oh wat a stategic bunking.....Boring meetings once in every week... it was 3 wen we had to go for a team meeting... suddenly an idea pops out... y dont i bunk but i need a partner to do it... pinged my fren 'Are we bunking the meeting??'.... was waiting for a harsh reply from him but got a smiley and 'Yeah sure. Meet you in the back door at 3 :D'... and here I get a partner in crime... hehe...2:55 i move out of my cubicle and get into the Lu... safest place to be ;)... sharp 3... slowly came out of it and stood near the stand stairs and here comes Puneet... Happily we both went to the food court and gossiped... had coffee...did no work and felt proud tat we did it.... at 4 meeting gets over and we are back to our seats... a mischeivous smile on my face... as it gives me lot of pleasure wen a mischeif is successfully completed... now here comes a turning point.... a ping in my communicator 'Please come and meet as soon as you are back'.... Oh it was my lead who pinged me.... Went with an innocent smile to him..... 'Why didnt you come for the meeting?????? Where were you???' Gosh my thots wandered... wat do i say now .... my eyes rolled and suddenly looked into a burn in my hands... I got the burn 2 days back and it had an itching... There i got reason.... with tearful eyes and an innocent gesture I showed my burn...'I got burns and went to a doc... had an itch in my hands :(' .... escaped :D.... Donno whether it was good or bad but it was fun :D... not becoz i lied but becoz i bunked.... Was happy that my devil mind really works well... hehe....
Oops there are lot more to share.... I have plans to jot them down all.... ummm a kind of confession for all the mischeives I did so that I am sin free yes paap mukt... Catch up again in the next post....
Wen I say relaxation wat does it mean to me.... Movies, Shopping, Surfing, gossiping, music, travelleing, clicking random pics and all things which are related to fun.... Hope my craze for movies keeps on increasing with age which seem to be ;).... Shopping just luv it..... Its one of the best stress buster which I can think for anyone and everyone...Well surfing... but wat do i surf... cars, movie reviews, social sites, deals sites, dresses :D, youtubes goes on and on....'Gossiping'... Lot to talk and learn... hehe so to learn we need to gossip :D.... music.. Just too tired from ofc and need something to relax...I can only think of music...I feel music at times help us to discover wat we are....at times wen i feel lost and m just not able to put in words 'music' helps me lot.... 'Travelling' guess is always a way to come out of the hectic schedule and get some relaxation...the best part is def wen we get to interact with new ppl on our way... diff ppl diff culture diff thots adds new dimensions to our thot and tats wonderful.....this is a new interest which m getting into.... No m not a gud photographer or have creative thots but ya enjoy doin it to some extent even encourage ppl too :).... Donno if I have missed any ways to relax.... Oh ya sleeping but the prob is I feel we have a short day only some few hours for ourselves... So how do I sleep and waste time...With so very few hours in hand we cant realy afford to sleep .... Wish a day wud have been more than 24 hrs...
The thot of being 'home alone' for a couple of days takes me to Sleepless nites.... A dark cloudy nite and theres no one at home... Thunder showers and the heavy pour outside.... suddenly door bell rings....With all confusions I decide to go near the door and peep thru the eye hole.... TO my surprise there's no one :S.... stood near the door for sometime.... but no response....came bk to my room and cuddled my teddy... trying hard to sleep ... again door bell rings....this time i cud see someone vaguely but was not sure :S...perplexed shud i open the door.... I decide to open and to my utter surprise I found a weird lady starring at me... I decide to run....but where????..... Wen I look bak I see her slowly approaching me.... She has big eyes and licking lips with drops of blood :(.... but then i manage to run..... Suddenly there's a thud and here I am awake... Oh tats a DREAM.....3 am in the morning and the room is totally dark.... I didnt have the courage to go and shut the windows and again and again the horrible witch flashed thru my eyes... I wanted to go to rest room.... but was so damm scared even to switch on the lights.... Finally I decide to sleep again and give a gud ending to my dream.... But duh!!!! As I go bak I again found the witch following me :(.... I got a car standing in the middle of the road... tried hard to open it.... but suddenly I can hear a voice 'Come bak to me' and I turn bak to see her standing just behind me.... There my tears roll down and though I try to scream but there's something holdin me tight.... suddenly I hear someone calling me 'Hey wake up... Time to go to ofc'....Oh its my rumie now :)...Finally morning!!!!... But the witch didnt die... hope she doesnt com bk tonite....I dozed the entire day at ofc :(.... A Sleepless nite indeed!!!!
